Installed and in use
The first floors we laid were our own. Before we sold a single square metre, DALO went down in the injection hall, the machining workshop, the changing rooms and the offices — which is the only honest way to find out how a floor behaves after a few thousand hours of real traffic.
Our own factory
Injection hall
Grey through the middle, yellow around every press, green for the pedestrian lane with a walking pictogram laid into the tiles. The zoning is in the floor, so it does not get scrubbed away by the forklift it is there to keep out.
Machining workshop
Same logic around the CNC machines: yellow islands at each machine, grey for circulation, green down the walkway. Swarf and coolant wash off, and a damaged tile is a five-minute job rather than a shutdown.
Changing rooms and offices
Grey with a green lane, laid over the existing screed in a day, without closing anything. It is a quieter floor to stand on than concrete and warmer than tile, which matters more than we expected.
Customer floors
Car service
A red border laid around the lift bay, marking the working zone without a drop of paint. The floor takes car tyres and the weight of the lift, and cleans up after an oil change.
Bicycle service
Black across the workshop, yellow at the entrance, cut around the repair stand. It washes, it does not stain, and when the shop grows the floor grows with it.
