Quality
We work under IATF 16949, the quality management standard of the automotive industry. It is not a plaque on the wall — it is the reason a damper component we mould can be traced back to the batch of granulate it came from, years after it left Sibiu.
A copy of the certificate, with its number, scope and validity, goes out with any serious inquiry. Ask and you get it the same day.
What the standard actually buys you
- Traceability from finished part back to material batch, tool and shift
- First-sample approval with the documentation behind it, before series production starts
- Controlled changes — nothing about a running part moves without a record
- Non-conformance handling with root cause, not just a replacement box
- A supply chain of authorised material distributors, so the grade is the grade
An automotive customer already knows all of this. If you are buying a floor from us, it is worth knowing too: DALO is moulded inside the same system, by the same people, on the same presses.
How we check
- Optical measurement for dimensional control
- An electric test stand for force and travel on moulded assemblies
- Quality tracking software, part by part
- Two full-time quality inspectors across the shifts
The test bench matters more than it sounds. A bellows has to fold thousands of times in road salt and summer heat without splitting — you cannot inspect that by eye, you have to pull it until it fails and know at what number.
Who answers when something goes wrong
We are a company of about two dozen people in production. When a part is out of tolerance you talk to the person who runs the press and the person who owns the quality system, usually in the same conversation, usually the same day.
That is the whole argument for a supplier our size. Small, and that is the point.
